so do the fucking support vehicles at airports if you zoom in close enough, they generally say things like 'no tail number' COS THEY AINT GOT ANY. GONNA INCLUDE THEM TOO? IS A TOWTRUCK A GODDAMN PLANE?

I believe supports vehicles show up because they probably are required to have transponders on them like the aircraft do. This would be so that they show up on the ground radar system and the ground controllers can make sure they know where all traffic is even when they have traffic in blind spots from the tower. I'm not 100% sure but using my knowledge of airport shit I'm thinking that's why.
