Yes, I used to work in toxic tort and came across many studies done in the 1960s and 70s that showed how processed food was causing a rise in intestinal cancers (stomach, intestine, colon). In fact, before the era of processed foods, intestinal cancers were almost unheard of - which is why if you have any land or even a porch, you should grow as much of your own food as possible and throw your microwave in the garbage.

If I throw my microwave in the garbage how do I reheat my left over homemade, organic, garden to table meals?

toaster oven, broiler, oven? I ran a meter on my friend's microwave for high frequency radiation levels and the meter was still alerting at 4 feet away. For some people that's the length of their kitchen. But really, use a microwave if you want, I do think it makes certain foods taste strange tho.
