I don't ride bikes anymore but the problem with this sentiment is that autos don't own the road. In fact many car drivers hold up 18 wheelers in bad weather. So if you want to be consistent then we have to complain about cars here too. People who ride bikes pay taxes and are entitled to safely travel on roads. I have never rode a bike on 2 lane highways but if I did I wouldn't be letting cars buzz me by riding the line.

The inconvenience for someone's safety is never more than a couple minutes. For what is happening, and the amount that people put into it, it's obvious to see the auto drivers feel the world revolves around them. Roads are for everyone. They are not there for YOU to get where you need to go without anyone else being on them.

Correct. And how much inconvenience is caused by the asshole drivers themselves? You get to know the roads pretty quickly. Doesn't take more than 2 or 3 cars to almost clip me when I'm riding as close to the edge of the road as possible for me to say "fuck that, middle of the lane it is."

Bikes are not cars. If you hit us we can get severely injured or die. Whereas you just risk a nick on your bumper and some hard fucking jail time.

It only takes about 5 seconds of putting myself in your shoes to realize who is putting effort into their travels. I can spare 15 seconds of my day to tip the hat to some folks putting in some work.

Not all goats, but a lot here just like to bitch. Because they are bitches.

You're grasping and trying to make justifications. Road bikers are inconsiderate pricks which is why they are universally hated by everyone except other road bikers.
