As my first comment of the day, I tried to reply to an apologist for the LAPD on the thread about the contact shooting. I was told I was doing it too fast and to wait 30 seconds. I waited, same problem. I waited like five times, and longer. Same problem. So I tried test posting to other threads, to reply in my inbox, no problem, posted just fine. I came back to the LAPD thread and tried to repost my comment (copy paste) this time as a top level comment to the post. Same problem, too fast. So I did a test post, thinking it may have been the content of my post. NO PROBLEM, POSTED INSTANTLLY.
I was able to edit my test comment to include my original. You can read it below. Am I being censored due to the words I use?

It is actually a problem with Voat. No idea why it does that. But sometimes I write long replies and it gives me a stupid 30 second wait time. And it makes it impossible to reply to that person.

So, known bug due to length of post?
[–] HomerSimpson ago
Yeah. I think that is what causes it.

I'm getting sick of people screaming CENCORSHIP! at everything. Not everything is censorship.

It's a bug. I didn't know that. I was trying to be vigilent by asking.
Are you really surprised that in THIS community, censorship is something people are looking out for?

What does surprise have to do with it.

It has happened to me a number of times.Seems to be random. There is no indication that it is censorship of any kind.

u/HomerSimpson says it has to do with length.

I have had it happen with fairly short replies.Who knows, it seems random to me.Either way it is pretty obvious it is a bug of some type.No big deal.
