So... I rescued a stray, female about four weeks old. All black cat, I named her Selena. :D This is MY first car, had a couple growing up. Have done my google research but that has just left me more confused. So... here I am Voat, at your mercy .-. For the first week I had been feeding her about 3oz of wet food a day, twice a day (1.5 per serving) She was going batshit(no pun intended) crazy for food... But I didn't want to start indulging her with food because she simply wasn't used to it. Here I am a week later, and I have no idea if I am feeding her too much or not enough. I've started feeding her 6oz a day twice a day(3 per serving) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I promise pictures soon!
Thanks friends.

So most kittens, they actually should somewhat free feed. Get kitten food and in addition to wet food get some high quality kitten dry food to leave out.
They won't get fat, but they need lots of protein and for the first year they recommend free feeding.
