So... I rescued a stray, female about four weeks old. All black cat, I named her Selena. :D This is MY first car, had a couple growing up. Have done my google research but that has just left me more confused. So... here I am Voat, at your mercy .-. For the first week I had been feeding her about 3oz of wet food a day, twice a day (1.5 per serving) She was going batshit(no pun intended) crazy for food... But I didn't want to start indulging her with food because she simply wasn't used to it. Here I am a week later, and I have no idea if I am feeding her too much or not enough. I've started feeding her 6oz a day twice a day(3 per serving) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I promise pictures soon!
Thanks friends.

When I asked my vet this question, she told me to feed the cats as much as they will eat, and that they just won't overeat. Seems weird, but it actually seemed to work fine for my cats.
