I'm a pretty serious weight lifter and I constantly have to fight to make sure I'm eating enough. I physically cannot put enough food in me to meet my calorie requirements, it won't fit. I supplement with weight gainer powder which is 1200 calories per serving but I think most days I still burn more calories than I consume and I still stay at the same weight. Its weird.
This is the same for me. I unintentionally dropped about 10 lbs from a calorie deficit. This from doing excessive cardio and I wasn't shovelling food down my throat from the moment I woke up anymore
I always have felt like I don't eat very healthy because I literally just eat whatever I want but I'm starting to think my diet is probably much healthier than the average person's none the less. I eat maybe 60-80g of sugar per day at most. I eat a lot of carbs but I absolutely need them for fuel. I also take protein powder, a green supplement and multivitamins so I think I'm getting all the nutrients I need.
