Yeah, you start with one desktop and can put things in multi-desktop view by pressing win+tab. From there you can add or delete desktops (deleted desktops move their windows to another desktop. Then you can switch around quickly with ctrl+win+[arrow key]. You should be able to get how this looks and works on multi-screen setups with this screenshot.
