I'm the same. I will eat tomato soup and sauces and many other recipes made with tomatoes. Put a raw or grilled tomato in front of me though and I won't touch it. It is the slimy texture and weird weak acidic taste that puts me off.
Salsa and pico as tomato derivatives are normally quite delicious, as long as the raw tomato flavor is gone. Ketchup only on Whoppers. Tomato sauce is a-ok. Just tomato raw, slices, or cooked slices, or anything close to the natural state of the tomato are disgusting. Just awful.

Tomatoes. Disgusting. Slimy. The taste has zero redeeming qualities. No thank you, tomato.

Agreed. Its a weird thing because I like tomato products like ketchup and pasta sauce, but despise eating raw tomato.

What about sauces? Cooked slices? How about salsa or pico de gallo?
