I think Comedy Central is becoming a lot like Reddit. It didn't start out as a far left Bastion, but that is where it's headed

I miss the old lineup of classic SNL episodes, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Craig Kilborn's version of the Daily Show, Dr. Katz, The Critic, Win Ben Stein's Money, The Kids in the Hall, and of course, copious amounts of stand-up specials. Everything the SJWs touch turns to shit.

I really enjoyed this too. It always felt like it leaned left, but no one cared because they didn't shove it down your throats.

Same here. I miss Comedy Central when it actually had comedy.

It's going the way of MTV (which was supposed to be a go to channel for the latest music videos, but now is a cesspool of mostly idiotic reality shows).

The agenda for the station is driven by the corporate sponsors I'm sure their corporate sponsors are out of California.

Can someone give me even one reason not to hate California?

I don't think it's unique to this station, or unique to a specific corporation or state. It's just that the "social justice" demographic has reached a significant size, and even if they're not a majority, they're group that's more likely to spend more money on media and merchandising than others, especially in comparison to a cheap libertarian stereotypical redditor type. This makes them an ideal demographic for most for-profit media, and gives them over proportional interest by these groups. A similar thing is and has been happening with the old conservative demographic that is being catered to by media like Fox news, because they're also likely to spend money and media, or simply they don't do things like block ads.

I don't think south park is going to change. Trey and Matt seem "Just left enough" if that makes any sense. And that's the only reason I watch the channel.

Trey and Matt are ideologically libertarian. Watch the Handycar episode if you think otherwise.

Far left is against the TTP. Reddit becoming far left is an oversimplification.
