I want to slaughter some cute woodland creatures. I haven't bought a pellet gun since probably before most of you were born. Looking to get a pump .177 that is not a piece of shit, but also not supidly over priced. I think the last I had was a crossman, not sure which one or if that model still exists. Was a decent enough unit. I need one I can put a cheap scope on BTW.
Recommendations? Under $50 possible? I'm flat refuse to go over $100, I'd get a .22 in that case. Not counting price for scope.

Any pellet gun that isn't a toy will cost you about the same as a .22 fam.
If you're that close and don't wanna spend any shekels go get a wrist rocket and some ball bearings.

Might do the wrist rocket and get a .22 later.

IF, and this is a big if...but IF you can find a QUALITY blowgun, they are actually pretty fuggin sweet. My pops picked up a blow gun in the Philippines that was one the local brown-skins used for hunting and not some tourist trinket. It was about 5 feet long and made from bamboo or some sort of reed but we used to be able to hit a golf ball on a tee 15 yards away and that's when we were kids. Although I think they used poison darts so it may be kind of cruel to use on critters without that.
But I was good with a wrist rocket as a kid, you can def kill a small rodent with those. However there are times you just break a hip or a leg and the crawl away into the woods and die slowly, and that's kinda fucked up. For less than 50 shekels you dont have much options, but you can get a used .22 from a pawn shop for around 100 unless you live in some cucked state.
Or maybe you could learn to live in harmony with the adorable woodland friends :3
