Thank you for making it clear. "So to speak" is just an English phrase that means, "in a way", so I wasn't trying to ask if they wanted to talk to him. I have plenty of friends for whom English is a 2nd language and they appreciate me educating them on things like that, so hopefully you do too.I never thought about what that phrase means literally before, that's interesting.

I guess my next question would be, when do the people start bring their own batons and shields to these events and, well...do battle? Not asking you to predict the exact future, but does it look like things are going that way? From what I've seen (RT live streams) it seems like when a single line of police tell people to stop marching, they do. When does that stop? Maybe I haven't seen what's really been going on though and these things have been happening already.
