Robots aren't life forms.

The definition of life allows for robots with certain characteristics to be life forms. What is your definition?

The problem I have with calling robots life forms is that robots (for now anyway) do nothing more than run programs given to them by their programs. If there happened to be a robot that actually has emotions (which as far as I know is not possible) and doesn't just run some program that emulates emotions, I would have no problem calling that robot a true life form. For example: If Johnny5 was real I would call him a life form, but something like him has yet to happen in real life.
