I still have mine because I don't care about the drama. There's still content on Reddit. I go to where the content is.

That's a very refreshing take.

I feel like it's the most common point of view, though - just people with that point of view tend not to be vocal about it because they don't care.

Pretty much my opinion.

I really liked the way you explained the position. Good job!

Same as me. I'm unsubscribed from all the defaults (except IAMA now that it's independent), and go on Reddit to participate in the smaller communities I regularly visit there.

Occasionally, I go on /r/all to repost interesting stuff here.

Pretty my position as well. Still good content to be found. I'm just glad I have another place to go in Voat

I deleted my comments, but still have the account.

I have however fully migrated to Voat and im not looking back.

Yes there is less content here,

Yes there are more subs there,

Yes the subs have a bigger user base there.

BUT....

It's up to us to fix that, its up to us to add good content to Voat and upvoat what we like, upvoat comments that contribute to discussions. If there isn't content in the sub you would enjoy visiting, change that! Upload video's, articles, funnies. Whatever! But thats the only way we can get the ball rolling and subs growing.

I still do and will continue to have it while smaller subs don't migrate.

I rarely browse r/all and front page basically consists on small subreddits.

The largest subreddit I'm subscribed to is r/soccer and over there people don't give a fuck about reddit politics or what's going on, so there's that. Meanwhile v/football hasn't really taken over, even 2 months ago during the end of the Champions League or the main leagues there were barely no match threads, or enough content.

While some parts of reddit are migrating, most of the smaller subs that aren't really affected or don't care about what's going on on Reddit will remain there until something huge happens.

Yeah r/hockey made a post basically saying fuck the rest of the site we like hockey. The sub verses will fill up but it will take time. I deleted 2 of my accounts and removed the app from my phone. That was the biggest step

I've systematically destroyed all of my shitposts, now I'm just organising the few worthwhile things I said that are also context independent, so I can move them here.

After that, my reddit account will vanish, as if it never was.

I still have mine. Don't use it, but I also don't plan on deleting it either.
