Hopefully voat doesn't become the typical karma whoring, cringe-worthy top comment culture that infested Reddit. It made me vomit.

I have cancer. Want to see my cat? Here is my war veteran friend holding him, and her cleavage is showing.

To the top!

When I started to realize Reddit was over was when I noticed really hipster college kids browsing it.

As depressing as that is, it's true. The quality has gone down significantly. It has really opened my eyes to how the young millennials feel (I am an older millennial). They are all feelings, attention seeking, cause seeking, anti critical thinking. I saw it coming a long time ago. I watched it take over the tight knit youtube atheist community and get ruined with Atheism Plus. I watched them through Gamergate. I watched them take over reddit and eventually see them spill over onto facebook conversations. It's scary because this is the future.

So what you are saying is .. when hipsters started to use it, it was "over". Isn't that hipster'ish?
