They prey on the fact that it can't be proven false, they should only be imprisoned for bringing accusations public without any evidence.

Government officials and the media should also be imprisoned for reporting anything besides "this hag who would clearly never be touched by a man, has been arrested for accusing rape without evidence".

This isn't even unreasonable, if you report rape immediately after it happens, there is ample evidence.

Bruises from holding down her arms. Tears on the vaginal walls from forced entry. Injuries to the man as you tried to escape.

If you don't immediately bring the charges forward, it's clear it was consensual or didn't happen at all, as is the case with republican politicians being slandered.

Fuck all those whores who say they didn't come out before because they were "ashamed" of their rape more like ashamed of being a slut whore. No other type of victim makes this bullshit claim except for petty whore women who use the legal system as a weapon against men. Have you ever heard of someone waiting for years to tell people they were mugged, or robbed or had their car stolen or were beaten up or jumped by people in the street? You ever heard of someone who kept it a secret that some nigger tried to wallop them or that they were shot because they were "ashamed" of what happened? You ever heard of someone who had their house burn down or went through a traumatic situation and kept it a secret for years because of "shame".

Shit like this is why I just laugh at homeless women in the street. Pro tip: if you end up destitute or homeless as a woman, just fucking kill yourself because that's only possible when you're a vapid horrid evil cunt who sees people as trash to use and abuse.

I have known plenty of men and women who went through a traumatic situation and sat on it for years.

One could argue that's also exactly what all criminals committing murder who don't get caught do.

You laugh at homeless women on the street ? If I may ask, why ? Does it give you joy seeing others being miserable ? Or are you rationalizing that everyone homeless "deserves" it ?

For my part I really do not care, it is up to people to take care of themselves. And why you'd wish it upon people to kill themselves if they are not bothering you just sounds real nasty.

You probably don't give a shit what I think and that is cool, why should you ? But I feel compelled to tell you, I would not want to be your neighbor or a person in your life. Given that this is your normal stance on issues in life and not some emotional outburst of yours.

No body cares what happens to anyone until it happens to them. Then no one listens. Until it is too late.

A significant number of women actually orgasm during the rape. There is legitimate shame associated with rape that other crime victims don't experience. That being said, if you can't say something for 35 years and have no witnesses it's over move on. Especially in the case of Kavanaugh, nothing actually happened other than some groping over the clothes from what I understand.

There is a significant amount of shame involved in being falsely accused of one of the most serious crimes.

The punishment should fit the damage caused by the crime. Accuse a man of rape for political reasons? No evidence? Go to prison.

Dude, you're on Voat because it doesn't censor but you're advocating for throwing in people in prison if they don't self-censor?

The justice absolutist in me feels it is wrong for the court to be able to punish an accuser, just as a matter of principal. However I think we have see enough evidence over the years that women are not using the system for justice. They just use it because it feels good to hurt their target for whatever reason.

It would be proportional to put a false accuser on a sex offender register

when 'Justice' is based upon a presumption, it's no longer called Justice. it's wishful thinking.

The presumption of innocent until proven guilty is pretty important

“Innocent until proven guilty”... when and if the accused is exonerated, by implication the accuser is guilty of fabrication — it would be just but that’s what countersuits are for

What ever happened to "Innocent until proven guilty"?

Yeah, let's just throw forensics along with all of our rights out the window.

Up the severity of punishment if caught lying under oath. Also dismiss cases of sexual assault/harassment that do not have physical evidence. Done. Let's get back to sensibility.
