Yes they are, but the idiots don't seem to grasp that voats on a CCP restricted sub DO NOT COUNT.

They may have done that deliberately. There were almost 300,000 followers of the Reddit version of The Great Awakening. Shadow banning themselves gets them lost.

They would have figured that their users wouldn't find them so easy and just go make themselves a sandwich instead and give up on their club. Overestimating their own intelligence means underestimating the intelligence of others.

They knew there was The Great Awakening here already, but no one gave them instructions on how to counter that, so Voat's The Great Awakening will scoop up all their users. No one's looking for theawakening, they're looking for thegreatawakening. They'll get to experience freedom and open democracy for a change.

I wonder how any of the 300,000 accounts might have been duplicates.

I’d never thought of this before since it hadn’t been relevant. In a sub that keeps the CCP from counting, does it count in the sub? So are they permanently restricted to how many comments they can make and stuff even in their own sub? Or do they count so that they can eventually act like normal, but only in that one sub?

I think you're right, on the latter. I never (rarely?) do this, but: @PuttItOut: are some of those restrictions local to subs? I remember reading something about that, a while ago. Like, you need at least 100CCP in a sub, in order to have unlimited access to it.

It's exactly what's happening. Limited comments to ten per 24 hours. That's why I left it.

Not 100% sure but I think that's how it would work.

Have you ever heard of the YouTube guy “undoomed”? Cause you’d like him. He calls every sjw “moron, fucking moron!” And then explains why they’re moronic. You’d like him.

I don't know how it works, but i hope if they were to switch it back to default that the CPP gained during that time doesn't count.
