Homeless don't work. illegals are there for the mighty $$, that they send back home.

Big corporations want illegals to lower wages and increase the profit margin.

Democrats need illegals because Americans have worked out dems hate America and won't vote for them.

I can't stress this enough. The only reason Mexicans are here is money. In California some live in Mexico and commute daily to LA just so they can earn $15 an hour and pay next to nothing in rent.

Because Business needs a captive disposable cheap labor supply

This goes from picking fruits to writing code

This I understand and agree with, a labor force is always needed. It’s the failure of both the government and those who are domestic who both would rather have a welfare system than accept hard work.

Just a bit of education for you, there are 350 million people in America. 155 million are employed, and that’s a record high. That’s considered ‘full employment.’

We are a developed country, which means we are able to produce so much that if we had everyone capable of work actually working then we’d produce so much that it would actually cause problems for the economy as supply would greatly exceed demand and prices would collapse.

Running a capitalist economy in developed countries requires lots of weird stuff to keep supply from getting out of hand. The biggest issue is innovating new products and services to keep people occupied and off drugs and despondency.

Businesses also need a fresh customer base to maintain profit growth. I believe market saturation and profit stagnation is the driving force behind mass immigration.

The fact that super rich people are pushing socialism should tell you something. If they thought giving away free shit was the answer, they'd be doing it with their own fortunes.

Excellent point. They also seem to be in a deluded state as to the ramifications it will have on the nation they live in. Riots can and will spill over into their gated communities. Eventually it will be to much for even private security to handle. Recent military drills I believe are giving them a false sense of safety.

In a situation like that, it's much more likely that the private security would simply kill the people they're supposed to be protecting, take their shit, and disappear.

Why should we import more people when we dont even have solutions for our own homeless?

You're implying immigrants are all repentant on the state for housing. This is not the case. They're more likely to need such help, but not to the degree Voat imagines. Most immigrants are honest, hard-working people who want the same things you want. This is not odd because that also describes people in general.

Leftist will say take the money from the wealthy and give it to the poor. Socialism is never the answer

I agree with them. And that is one thing socialism tends to do. But there are degrees of socialism. The modern US has many social programs. These include roads, police departments, fire departments, social security, SNAP, Pell grants, and FEMA. I'm sure you dislike some of those but most of them provide far more benefit than their costs. Socialism isn't an on-or-off thing. Most modern Western societies, for example, have socialized health care and contrary to popular opinion here they have enormously better outcomes per dollar spent than the US. If the US were to spend 2/3rds what it does now on a comprehensive single-payer health care system it would have equivalent outcomes to what it does now. For the full price the outcomes would be much better. Argue with me about this and lose.

Socialism is never the answer, history has proved this.

History has proven total socialism isn't the answer. But total socialism has little to do with the welfare programs we're discussing, and it has nothing to do with immigration policy.

I’m convinced some groups of people just don’t want or can’t benefit from any solution, they will squander, destroy or fail to utilize any help offered

As you narrow your list of people to those with each of those attributes you'll have a smaller and smaller set. By the time you get to the end you'll have about a hundred thousand people, and those people will be the most dysfunctional in existence. To refuse any help is a sign of extreme mental disability. I know your description was a bit hyperbolic, but I'm making a point here. You're mixing up your hyperbole with your world view, and your world view thereby is distorted.

they will squander...

You know who uses the most welfare in the US? Niggers. Non-immigrant ones. Now here's a fun fact for you: If you statistically adjust their poor outcomes (because having a miserable life is what you call "squandering" when you look at the facts of the matter) for fatherlessness, the discrepancy between how they live and how white people live almost completely disappears. And that's not related to their skin color. Look at any group of any race without fathers and you'll have the same poor outcomes. If you want to prevent the behaviors you despise make sure each child lives in a home with two parents and you'll see it happen. But that would need some social programs, compassion, and a nuanced understanding of society.

the globalist want to throw more fuel on the fire

Globalization is a huge number of beliefs about how the world should work. The idea that immigration is a good thing is only one of them. Perhaps you should be more specific and say "supporters of open borders"...?

edit: Fuck the circle jerk

The idea of taking from the rich to give to the poor is fine with me, but this never happens. The take always comes from those just above the poor. Never the rich. The middle class pays while the rich dodge the bill.

And that's a serious problem. A problem that goes to the roots of the democratic republic form of government, and one to which I would support almost any realistic solution. The rich get to make the policies.

I will tell you what globalists want. They want to create the position of "king of the earth" so they can sit their asses on that throne.

If you are against importing foreign people to your nation, it is not you who have to explain why you shouldnt. It is the people who are for it that should explain to you why. If you are not convinced, then it will be Status Quo, which means no import.

Dont explain your position, ask the otherr to explain theirs.

I mean one argument in favor of the immigrants against the homeless is that many, perhaps even most homeless people are crazy and have little no chance of ever becoming productive members of society, whereas productive foreigners can be imported and make various contributions in multiple fields.

For instance, there's a race on right now to make the first quantum computer, a lot of immigrants have been brought in to ensure we.are first

Productive foreigners are still taking jobs from natives and suppressing wages.

Quantum computers already exist. I was reading documentation for them nearly a decade ago. It's a matter of expanding their usefulness and consistency.

Good question. Its just expounding on the economic and social problems in this country, especially when the populations being brought in are not very productive and are more susceptible to embracing social degeneracy.

I think North America unfairly marginalizes the homeless in its nation as psychological misfits and socially abnormal, when in fact not all homeless people are homeless for this reason. Some of it has to do with bad environmental situations and education becoming increasingly more unaffordable for people in the middle-class(I think this is only a minority of the cases). Homelessness was taken care of much better in Gilded Era America. They had systems of subsidiary, religious institutions were more caring, and they had poor houses for the homeless. Homelessness in the South overwhelmingly has to do with the end of the plantation system/slavery.

I think humanity is coded to think that the best solution is a one-sized fit all approach, which usually involves some of socialism or quasi-socialism. They think this is the best way to equalize things out, when in fact it destroys production and capacity to convert capital into more capital. People just sit on the little money they have and don't know how to use it because socialism does not encourage individual responsibility. After a while the elites realize this, justify their corruption, and accumulate massive fortunes(like what has happened in Latin America and even in a more egregious form in Africa). In Apartheid South-Africa the state did a great job of helping homeless white peoples and made sure they were taken care of(homeless blacks were to be taken care of by their own or missionaries was the logic of Apartheid).

Whites and blacks living in slums and shanty towns have become an increasingly larger problem under socialistic ANC run South-Africa. Most people can't think intelligently because everything has to be over-simplified and "humanitarian" and "egalitarian" sympathies worsen the situation and all this produces is a system that is intrinsically biased to a particular viewpoint being the best and most idealistic way of "fixing everyone's" problems.
