Would it change things if my old account agreed? Because human nature...?

There are mods abusing power. There are the toxic elements that are unwilling to have the conversation. There are buzz words, lazy labels, and 100% or 0% mentalities. One of the early warning signs of Reddit, Digg, and so many others is needing to feel out the vibe of the comments. Just being another voice in the echo chamber or being the fool for not posting some strictly worded variation of "I Agree".

I like the mental exercise of finding the middle ground. Whenever a topic comes up, it's often a choice between two options. Which side do I find myself on? Both and neither. Because both sides have valid points and both sides go too far.

Do you only have conversations in order to try cornering each other?

Do unless I agree with one extreme or the other, I don't hold serious convictions?

When it becomes less about rational thought and more about conforming to the ideology of the group, any site is gonna hit the shitter.
