The Forbes article said it was part of a role-playing scenario set up as practice for him to avoid snafus in the future. It seems weird to completely de-Papa the pizza this quickly for play-acting set up by PR experts.

Something’s weird.

[–] Pwning4Ever 0 points 56 points (+56|-0) ago

Hmmm, possibly set up to get him fired. He's one of the few open CEO's that doesn't shy from the fact that he's right wing.

[–] spyder228 0 points 31 points (+31|-0) ago  (edited ago)

That was my first thought as well. Sounds like the board was still pissed at him for his earlier comments and engineered this "leak" to push him out and rebrand the company.

[–] neogag 0 points 22 points (+22|-0) ago

The same thing happened with Uber. They got the CEO to resign and then Eric Holder, Arianna Huffington, and other Obama shills moved in, I'm not even exaggerating.

[–] chirogonemd 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago  (edited ago)

It was absolutely a hit. Set him up as if you are doing something that will protect his and the company's image, but then strategically leak the utterance of a word - totally out of context and not meant maliciously, basically just acknowledging the existence and phoenetics of a semantic unit - and let the mere association of him with this word destroy a career and the brand of a company.

For this to even be possible, we are at levels of irrationality that would have made classical human beings scratch their heads. As a society we are d-evolving.

But it highlights how Leftist politics are just a pys-op of revolution, a power grab. Lead the public to a point of irrationality that the utterance of a word can bring down economic titans, 40 years of life and work ended because of a sound exiting lips (and not even hatefully). The idea to create this kind of environment is revolution itself. It weakens a society to the point of being able to overthrow power structures.

People need to wake up to the fact that the ideology of Leftism is a shell. It has no value, except for the pragmatic value to its benefactors as a means to redistribute power/wealth in a society. The ideology is a weapon, a sword in the hands of its owners which looks like a dove to those they are fooling.

A Netflix exec got fired under similar circumstances: https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2018/06/23/netflix-executive-racial-slur-jonathan-friedland/727823002/

You can't say "you can't say 'nigger' or you'll get fired" or you'll get fired.

[–] Whitemail 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

What if you're quoting someone who is quoting someone who was referring to what someone else said?

When I was talking to John he said, "My driver said, 'Someone called me a nigger after I delivered his pizza.' "

[–] PuttitoutIsGone 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Why not just say that he said "nigga"? You know, like the niggers do...

[–] NotHereForPizza 0 points 16 points (+16|-0) ago

You don't just stop sponsoring the NFL.

[–] arnoldswarzenegger 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

The ((NFL))

[–] bagano1 [S] 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

Well, if that's the case, a lot of people are going to have egg on their face, possibly face lawsuits in the future.

[–] Hayashimo 0 points 48 points (+48|-0) ago

I think it just sucks to think about how quickly you can lose all your work like that.

He is Papa Johns. He made it. Now he has lost control to this point? Fucking retarded.

The modern West is garbage nowadays.

[–] FuckTheVirileAether 2 points 26 points (+28|-2) ago

That's because we haven't lived in a Capitalist society for going on a century now. We have markets, but out government institutions, policies, and most our economy is fundamentally Marxist. And you can read Chapter 2 of Communist Manifesto to confirm this: every police Marx recommends to transform a capitalist society into a communist society has been instituted in America for nearly a century in one way or another, often going by slightly different terminology.

Marx advocates abolition of rights of property, but the point of his recommendations are always to force capital to work harder and harder to increase productive forces as rapidly as possible.

So instead of simply nationalizing all the property, for example, some clever NeoMarxists came up with this idea of property tax, so that people work to be able to pretend like they owe property, but if they don't then produce enough to pay the tax, the State just takes the property and sells it to someone who will pay the tax. That shouldn't happen in a real Capitalist system. Same thing applies to "abolition of rights of inheritance" - you work harder and longer if you think you can leave some money to your kids, so the state ends up taking more than if you had just retired with enough to last you until you died. Meaning 50% of $200k is more than 100% of $0, and this allows the state to trick you into producing more without putting a gun directly to your head.

Central Banks are a policy Marx lists. Likewise, Public Education and Unemployment Insurance etc etc. Stuff that people think is normal and common sense today are all Marxist policies that were radical when instituted. But no one reads the Communist Manifesto and those that do few understand it. For example, Marx advocates a more even distribution of population between city and country, and we have that: they are called Suburbs. People living in Suburbs live in a Marxist project without knowing it. Public works, public utilities, public education - all Marxist.

Obamacare of course is a Marxist program, though not even listed by Marx it follows his principles. It was designed to be economically untenable, and to make further demands on capital as it grows. And once it reached a crisis point of course the reaction would be to completely nationalize the health care system.

[–] Mikel777 1 points 2 points (+3|-1) ago

Well, Marx coined the word capitalism, it basically means a small group of people keep acquiring capital through fraud, extortion and violence until they own all the land, buildings, businesses and banks. That's what is called capitalism, capitalism keeps accruing under fewer and fewer hands until no one else can get it.

Marx's mistake was going the Thomas Hobbes route advocating a solution Leviathan to prevent all these evil capitalists from gaining all the capital, not realizing he was creating a monster capitalist That would simply engage in the same behavior.

Excellent post, many great points.

[–] ViperCarbz 2 points 17 points (+19|-2) ago

It is a public company, not a local business. He made his money a while ago at the expense of giving up control. He is the marketing face. Kind of like that sandwich child molester.

[–] culofiesta 1 points 6 points (+7|-1) ago

(((Jared Fogle)))

[–] TrudeauianEyebrow 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

How do sandwiches have children?

[–] Pointyball 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

You are correct, but he still owns 30% of the company.

[–] Food_Stamp 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

You talking about that jew jarred fogle?

[–] Whitemail 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

(((modern West)))

[–] bonhomme2012 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Once a company gets to that size the founders rarely are the "owners" anymore.

[–] clubberlang 1 points 27 points (+28|-1) ago

The 34-year-old pizza chain plans to hire an independent expert to audit all the company’s processes, policies and systems related to (((diversity and inclusion))). And the indoctrination of corporate America continues

[–] SyriansAreTerrorists 1 points 27 points (+28|-1) ago

Some companies now have "chief diversity officers". People get paid 7 FIGURE SALARIES to exclude whites and promote low-IQ minorities.

[–] nomadriders 0 points 18 points (+18|-0) ago

I was once interviewed by a diversity officer, it was a fat woman with blue hair and she was dumb as shit.

[–] Pwning4Ever 0 points 10 points (+10|-0) ago

The Corp I work for has several of these diversity folks that give the new hires the run-down on how to be inclusive.

It was a very obvious gay black man who gave a subtle attack on Trump to all the new hires. And a white single mom who talked about how hard it is being a woman, blah blah blah.

All these fuckers do is get paid 100k salaries to basically play victims.

[–] clubberlang 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Yea I've heard of this made up bullshit job its probably given to someone who cant speak English and hates western culture

[–] bagano1 [S] 1 points 0 points (+1|-1) ago

Wow, just wow.

[–] Cat-hax 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Yeah I think it was all a ploy to get a right wing ceo out

[–] holaymackal 0 points 25 points (+25|-0) ago

I'd like to say that he is /ourguy and order some Papa John's this weekend to support... what exactly? Support a guy who cucked and apologized? Support a company so reckless as to rat out the founder and then genuflect to the insane leftists? No thanks.

I'll order some food from a local shop that supports veterans and the president.

[–] DCIMorseCode 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

No. We never buy from Papa John Pizza again. Ever. That would support the founder in this brewhaha. Like others have said, he's already made his money. No need to feel sorry for him. I will never patronize the company again. Like I'll never watch NFL football. Ever.

[–] glassuser 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

It's sad. I genuinely like their pizza. But I'll find some place that makes it as good and doesn't sell out our people.

[–] Orfion 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

So many things I can't boycott because I never use them to begin with. There's a small restaurant very nearby that has the most wonderful pizza. The dough is so fresh.

[–] Pwning4Ever 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

I was ordering more papa johns after he told the National Felon League players to grow up. But he is completely severed from Papa Johns at this point. He owns some stock probably but that's about it. Papa Johns has nothign to do with papa johns.

Oh well, Dominos is pretty alright, they also fix potholes. So I'll go with them.

[–] Alopix 0 points 16 points (+16|-0) ago

Yep. One word, said IN PRIVATE, and the man is being unpersoned and stripped of everything he built. It's absolutely unconscionable. Even if he literally screamed nigger in someone's face fully meaning it as an insult, it's one word. One word and your life is over as much as or maybe more than if you had killed someone in cold blood, that's the world white men have to live in.

[–] Fagtardicus 0 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago  (edited ago)

this is what happens when you give up control of your company to make more money. hope that faget did something useful with it.

[–] bagano1 [S] 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

At some point, the rich and powerful will have to step forward and put the kibosh on this crap. Unless it's just a tool they use to get rid of people they don't like.

Which is probably more likely.

[–] midnightblue1335 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Would you effectively disarm yourself of a weapon that can be used to destroy almost anybody, willingly? You might say "yes", but a part of you will want to hang onto that power. After all, you earned it right? Those people "below" you don't know any better, they need you to arbitrate was is wrong and right for them.

You'd be crazy to ever think TPTB and "rich and powerful" will willingly give up power like this. It needs to be stripped from them, via rope.

[–] Norm85 0 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago

We need faked videos of leftie celebrities saying nigger to defang this attack vector.

[–] Juster 0 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago

I remember this. I can't believe people spewing out a naughty word somehow Trump's getting your house robbed.

[–] BreederBasher 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

And I will keep beating crackers who use that word.

[–] redsfan277 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER at least im not a stinky ass fucking cranky nigger NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER

[–] Orfion 1 points 10 points (+11|-1) ago

It doesn't bother me. He was saying something to the effect that "Col. Sanders said "nigger" all the time and didn't get in trouble."

[–] bagano1 [S] 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

From what I gather, from how blacks use it, it was commonly accepted in the South. It was probably their version of calling someone a moron. Eventually, in time, it came to be associated as a negative connotation towards blacks and was deemed racist and improper.

Of course, this is the south too, so what he said may have had some element of truth to it in terms of how it was used in the past. I still want to know the context of the conversation before I judge him.

[–] Orfion 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

It's always been a slur but people didn't freak out like they do now. It wasn't so much about racism as stereotyping. President Lyndon Johnson said of the passing of the Civil Rights Act. "We'll have those niggers voting for us fit the next 30 years." Nobody batted an eyelash. If Trump said that both sides would call for his resignation. PC bullshit. I say it to myself a hundred times a day if I think it once.

[–] DCIMorseCode 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

@bagano1 There is no "South" anymore. So many modern day carpetbaggers have descended below the Mason/Dixon line in the past 50 years there are only a fraction of true Southerners in the South. So all your preconceptions of the "South" are mostly out of date. And black usage of the term doesn't represent "moron". It's interchangeable with the word brother.

[–] BreederBasher 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

It was always racist and improper like every word that comes out of the mouths of the cracker breeder goy oppressor classes; even in the book GONE WITH THE WIND, it's described as a slur.
