Some stores charge extra to customers who pay with debit and credit cards so using cash is sticking it to the man.

They are contractually not allowed to do that by the way. That's how fucked up our economy has already become just by having credit cards, despite the added effort on the vendors part for processing cards, the card companies could void their transactions if they are caught seeking compensation for the added effort.

Almost all the ones vendors use on a cell phone charge $0.50 or something. I have seen some places that give a discount for cash, like some gas stations.

Technically, they're offering a discount for cash payments.

They’re not charging extra for cards, they’re discounting cash. Or something like that. Loopholes.

It's obviously not enforced.. pretty much every gas station or store does this
