Easier to fool someone than convince them they've been fooled.

They aren't critical thinkers. Smug status-quoians would loose the opportunity to condescendingly deride their opponent if a conspiracy theory turned out to be true.

Always is, especially when critical thinking is a rarity.

It's a good sign if you can imagine a point of view without necessarily agreeing with it :)

The only thing I believe at this point is proven mathematical equations (aka facts). Everything else is someone's opinion (which are all like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink).

If they were wrong about the situation the whole time, they were betrayed and they look stupid. This causes emotional pain, and the brain experiences emotional pain the same way it experiences physical pain. Maybe it's a fight or flight response, the anger shuts off the passion for long enough for them to deal with the threat, which, since it isn't a physical threat in this instance, isn't very helpful.

Pretty much. It essentially shatters their vision of reality. Their safe little box they put themselves in gets shattered and they have to confront the harsh reality and critically think and form a new vision of reality that confirms to the new data. Or they say fuck it and tune out their conscience and fight the data and competing vision that proves them wrong. It is very hard to do that. Thats why it’s so hard to red pill people; it would turn their whole reality upside down. This is my take on Thomas Sowell’s “Vision of The Anointed”.

Nobody wants to admit they're wrong.

that's what I used to say about sports 10 years ago. Back then i was really into all major sports and it was so obvious back then. If there's tons of money involved, you can bet your ass its going to be rigged. And yes, I've been done with sports for several years now. I have no desire to watch any of them again.

They are excellent tax write offs and the city usually pays all your " bills". Anyone who can afford one would be stupid not to buy one.

That's because you're sitting in your ass doing nothing other than basking in the glory of your ancestors while niggers, jews, and other foreign tribes continues to plot against you.

And when a white guy tries to do something about it the echo chamber goes "reeee controlled opposition" because he doesnt say "gas the jews" on his public speeches.

Who's the controlled opposition again, really? I've counted, and I've seen more posts attacking Trump than posts attacking Rothschilds in Voat. And the pro-Iran posts are way too similar to those posts in Antifa message boards.

So when it stopped being about American culture and switched to niggers and jews, why support it?

Are you insinuating that loving the playoffs indicates his stupidity?

Or is "obviousky an incredibly smart guy" somehow not sarcastic?

It has to do with the Amygdala, a fight or flight response that is triggered. I read a really great article once about it.

Most people think that someone who believes in a conspiracy is a nut, stupid, gullible, by being right he proves that they were the nut, stupid and gullible ones.
