That consistency is a big draw. I also feel he is less vitriolic about his opinions, he definitely highlights "colorfully" the people he doesn't disagree with, but it just doesn't feel as bitter as the talking heads on the left

I think he was designed to solidify the left/right paradigm and invented the current model of public discourse ("I am never wrong").

Does that mean that you think he wouldn't report negatively on anything on the right? And he's definitely arrogant, but I feel at least some of that is a defense mechanism against the inevitable and constant attacks from the left.

Y'know how the left just shouts all the louder instead of examining facts and/or listening to discourse? Rush does the intellectual equivalent of that regardless of whether his position is defined (in retrospect) as left or right-shifted. Remember that feeling of turdit controlling a narrative and finding hidden ways (or perhaps just "not commonly known ways") of silencing us? Rush does that on his show to whomever the contrarian messenger may be. Those two components are the foundational blocks for every ideology I oppose. T'ain't right, dude.

Media personality. Take everything with a grain of salt.

Absolutely, but do you think he is in it just for the attention or do you believe there is anything to his message?

Probably at this point in his career he is only going to push it so hard and so far before he thinks about his retirement.

Been overtaken by Hannity as mainstream right wing talking head. After the Thailand sex tour flight logs and Oxycontin addiction he lost his large base. Yesterdays news.

I agree that Hannity has definitely picked up audience, but I feel like he is tinged with a little bit of Alex Jones' style. Not nearly as wild or interested in conspriacy, but still overly excitable some times.

I hadn't heard about this Thailand thing. I'll have to look into that, but that doesn't sound good.

A wealthy private jet owner took him on vacation in Thailand where child prostitutes are common. There are records of his Viagra perscription being missing a few and him telling the customs official he had a great time.

Mainsteam people hopped off Rush train right then.

Ok it was DOMINICAN REPUBLIC not Thailand - but the rest is factual.

A loud mouthed windbag and braggart, but that ain't against the law. Par for the course in the media, he is a good talking head and knows his stuff.

Until the pieces of shit in the MSM step up and tell the truth about 9/11, they are ALL traitorous cock-sucking anti-Americans, Rush Limbaugh included. They should all be held accountable for the filthy God-damned lie they continue to perpetuate.
