Women have always been whores but the further you go back in time the more loyal they've been forced to be. 50 years ago for instance getting caught cheating on your husband meant that you became socially toxic and had to get your own job, usually being a waitress or prostitute, whereas today it's just expected a women has a job and can rely on the government if need be. You go back 500+ years and the only real option for women was becoming a prostitute if they got caught cheating as no one would consider supporting them at all and no other real work was available. You go back 5000 years and they would get shunned by everyone and have to travel to another state or country to start over as even being a prostitute wasn't feasible. They were literally forced to abandon everything they held dear. Friends, family, their culture, etc. Gone in an instant. For sure women still cheated as it's in their nature to do so but it was far rarer than what's seen today by a long shot as they had so much more to lose by being caught.

Realistically the only way it will stop today is if we make it a criminal offense to cheat on your partner. If it's proven that you've cheated you should for example go to prison for 2-3x as long as you've been together so that the more invested your significant other is in the relationship the more you pay for throwing it all away like that. Doing that would force people to be upright with one another as even a two week relationship could land a cheater in prison for over a month which is long enough to make a person reconsider their life decisions. Some will screech about it being unfair, particularly women, but how should it not be a criminal offense to destroy a person or even your entire family by being a whore? Sure you might not physically harm them but you can kill a person and even your own children on the inside by succumbing to lust which lasts a lifetime. It absolutely should be a crime with increased punishment levels for repeat offenders because at some point you have to decide that such people don't belong in society just the same as we do with other criminals. They may not rape, rob or kill but their behavior destroys our societies all the same and shouldn't be tolerated in the slightest.

I agree with the first paragraph, completely. The welfare state is one of the biggest mistakes we ever made. Alimony and child support payments are equally bad mistakes.

The second paragraph is a pretty good idea, maybe needs a little tweeking, but overall the author has something here.

While I agree that cheating should be condemned by society I do NOT think we should give the state more power by letting them regulate relationships ever

The welfare state is one of the biggest mistakes we ever made.

"We" didnt make the mistake because there is no "we".

The people who benefit from welfare simply voted for welfare, and the people who are opposing welfare have been outnumbered.

If you allow democracy at all, welfare is an inevitable consequence for the simple fact that voting is easier than working. So if you can vote for money, you will prefer it to working for money.

Alimony and child support payments are equally bad mistakes.

Women voted for it. Half of the electorate.

The single bad mistake, which led to all the other "mistakes", was letting women vote in the first place.

Men have to realize that women DO NOT WANT to marry them. Historically, they HAD to, simply to avoid their children starving. But they never wanted to. Since the state allows them to vote for welfare, they neither want to nor have to. The state allows them to force all men to pay, whether they are married or not, and unsurprisingly, the number of marriages is going down. In France, for example, the number of children born outside of a marriage has recently passed 60%.

If you have 100 men and 100 women, ALL women want to be impregnated by only 1 of the 100 men, the strongest alpha with the best genes. Women's eggs are expensive, they have only 1-2 shots during one lifetime, so they have to pick. Men in the end, want a womb. Not the womb, a womb, they dont care as much as women do, since they can father children till they die.

So if you let men choose, you'd likely get 100 marriages, because a marriage is the contract a man needs to protect his investment of time and money. For a man, a marriage is essentially a purchase receipt for a womb.

If you let women choose, you get one 1:100 harem and 99 male slaves.

And after women got the vote, they have been voting for exactly that, to make the marriage they never wanted obsolete. They now dont have to be impregnated by the same guy who will end up paying for the kid, i.e. the husband. A woman can now pick the 1 guy with the best genes she can get to impregnate her, after which she doesnt need him any more, and he can go around impregnating other women one by one. Since he cant pay for all the children he can sire, to prevent their starvation women vote for socialism and welfare, which then forces men they arent married to to pay taxes which then are used to feed for the 1 guys illegitimate kid.

It doesnt have to be even a criminal offense, just make a sane family law, like if its not yours you dont pay and can walk away at any time if she didnt in form you that you are not the dad.

Also now you can sue her for all the money you pumped into the bastard.

Bam instant less cheating as of now your only option for a cushy ride is being a good wife.

What about the consequences for men who cheat? Let's not forget that there are plenty of those. Cheating isn't an inherently female thing to do, after all.

If it were up to me they'd go to prison too.

Agreed. People need to start asking "how do I incentivize my society in such a way that promotes the behaviors that we would like" instead of mindlessly listening to what the media tells us is good for us.

Id also say we should ban alimony altogether, legally require the biological father be printed on birth certificates (not the husband or boyfriend) with severe penalty of perjury if it is incorrect, and eliminate child support.
