Being a conservative myself, I do often tend to struggle with liberals demanding "proofs" and what not. Yes, you can actually discuss with some of these people. Anyway, once I read something about liberals generally being more insecure and thus emotional when it is about politics then conservatives, wherein conservatives are able to accept even the most radical viewpoints, relatively speaking to the liberals.
So... Does someone maybe have a source on that?
That would had been my primary concern, now how to actually relay these things to a liberal? I do have several strategies, but I intend to improve these... Since most of the time they don't work as intended. So, how does one tell the truth?

I imagine the most effective way is to pretend to agree with them, then gradually intersperse or walk the discussion over to some truth. Use their sources, like HuffPo or Vox, when the occasional truth nugget sneaks through, instead of Fox News or Breitbart or Infowars, which will be dead giveaways. Don't fall for their demand to reply with an Ivy League grad school-quality essay when they're just going to call you a racist or tell you to move to Somalia anyway.
