Archived Using a W4 to tax exempt yourself (AskVoat)
submitted 2.9 years ago by 0110001111
Hello all. I'm a predicament. I lost a ton of money which lets me apply a very big credit to my filing year. My question, is it considered wise to tax exempt myself through a W4, if i know I will have no problem with back taxes? Or is it considered wiser to keep witholdings as is and re file in april to make up the difference?
