That sounds like unnecessary regulation by committee. Under such a system you will find the consumers will make outrageous demands that will be detrimental to the company and the goods and services they bring to the market. It's part of the liberal fantasy where commercial justice is obtained by a vocal few but to the greater good value is destroyed by those with an agenda. Would you be a productive member of society if everyone around you got to dictate what you can and cannot do? I doubt you would feel empowered or incentivized to do anything under such a system. Companies are regulated in the free market by sales. If you do not like the way they operate, then stop giving them money or buying their goods and services. If there are no alternatives to what the offer, well then you have a problem because part of your system is already in place but you are not the one they will listen to because they have captured their regulators and are being controlled by richer people than you. Your system would encourage this to a high level so you would not gain rights but instead lose more protections. Competition is the best regulator but regulations have caused competition to stall or cease due to exactly what you are proposing. President Trump has right idea: repeal 2 regulations for every new one proposed. We need to eliminate barriers to entry for new competition so the market can correct itself. Regulation is not the answer. We already know what that gets us.
