Have you already defaulted on the loan and this is the reason they are garnishing your wages? Have they gotten a court order to do so?

Not sure of their court proceedings but as I imagine they have authority to do so. Yes loan was in default such as why garnishment stared in the first place.

You should have been subpoenaed before the court ever garnished your wages. Before garnishment, you would have gotten notices, calls, etc.

I was late on a credit card once and they sent a process server to subpoena me. Before the court date I called and set up a 12-month payment plan. Easy.

TBH, this is shutting the barn door after the cows got out. Please don't take advice from internet strangers.
