A couple of weeks ago a co-worker from US came to our office (in Argentina) and told us that he has never seen a bidet until he entered one of our bathrooms (here is the norm to have one), and that he didn't know that such a thing exist. This is a very rare case or you didn't know either?

I think that they work OK, or I would be on possession of a collection of very dirty underwear.

Skid marks are never a good thing. Is it a lot of water pressure though? Any advice to avoid an enema?
Just start to open the faucet until you get to the pressure that you are comfortable with, no way to go wrong
