"The highest I've ever tested in 30+ years....", "The highest IQ in the school, possibly the county, at least on par with the highest." & "High enough we don't really want to tell him exactly"... At a K-12 school some years back. First two statements made directly to me, all three made to a parent....
High enough I could've earned a High School diploma by the end of 4th grade, showed a proficiency in vocabulary and other areas extending into the 3-4th year of college level. The test I took wasn't a joke, it wasn't some bullshit online thing either, it was conducted over 3 school days, though it wasn't that the testing went on continuously all day, just most of it.
I'll let you in on a little secret or two though, it doesn't fucking matter, for one you have an Emotional Quotient to be concerned with, and a lot of people with high IQ's can't function well in society, or work well with others, often that's attributed to their EQ or Emotional Quotient. And besides that it's incredibly lonely, frustrating, and can be damn near torturous to be so far ahead of your peers that even a lot of the smarter ones have more of a gap between you and their IQ of 110, than they do between them and functionary retards sitting at 85..... It's hard to get along with people, especially when you just see through so much bullshit, but can't point it out, it's hard finding and keeping people around who are on a similar plane. A lot of the people with really high IQ's see almost everyone else as "retards", a lot of them seem to be psychopathic, or at least sociopathic. There's a high potential for mental health issues, that old saying "there's a fine line between genius & insanity" is quite true.
And how fun is it to go through your life witnessing train-wreck after train-wreck, clearly seeing what the end results of friends and other loved ones choices will be, way before it happens, but nobody will heed any warnings anyway? What must it be like for a child to have their parents & government well outsmarted at an early age yet spend years subject to and subjugated by their bullshit? God forbid it's a child from a poor economic background, the rich children get a chance at being Dougie Howser, the existence of highly intelligent children from a poor economic background is straight denied by society, especially the rich pretentious psychopaths in training in the so called "gifted" or "AP" classes......
TL;DR Totally fucking irrelevant that's what it is, it doesn't teach you a work ethic, it doesn't help you sleep at night, it doesn't help you connect with others, and it doesn't make being surrounded by fucking morons and being forced to live by their dictates any more palatable.

Emotional Quotient is a New Age phrase for a concept that has been debunked repeatedly by hard science.
