I enjoy watching a community grow and take shape. See how the users define what kind of content goes where and the slight chaos some subverses have right now while mods decide what content is acceptable.
Reddit us great because I know where to go to get what I want... But it just feels so polished. Right now I feel like I might actually be able to make a bit of a dent in the community if I bother to try hard enough.

I agree, not only is it nice to see a growing community, but having a community that is more open and accepting of individuals versus being assimilated into a mass group of people.

No matter what assimilation will happen when the user base is big enough. It'll happen here too. We just need to have admins and mods who are level headed and understand that there is a subverse for everyone and everything.

Yes and yes.

Voat and Reit are exactly the same but in my personal opinion, Voat looks nicer and I'm really digging the voat goat over the snoo. Reit is in the process of monetizing their website which means they need to make changes. As its plain to see, the internet isn't happy with that. Unless they do something revolutionary and really cool, I don't see it happening and I'm sure their are others like me who want to feel like they are part of the tradition of exodus like what happened with Digg. Its a very empowering event for the internet.
