dude that sounds good to me. but i have an affinity for vegetables.

i know rice and beans is a complete protein. not sure about peas. hell, beans/peas might be the same thing, I dunno.

I'm using Meathead's recipe for perfect pulled pork and have had it in the smoker since 7:00 this morning. Cole slaw and fresh corn (grilled, of course) to go along with it.

Hoagies based of of this vid.

I was going to cook the recipe over a rotisserie but couldn't find my fork. So I kabobed the beef shoulder and onions [and added green peppers {You di' wha?!?!?}] and smoked them over White Oak chips {White Oak chips ya say?!?!?!?}. I bought some garlic mushrooms off of the salad bar and poured a can of beef broth in the water basin{Shut jo mouf!}. I was going to baste it every half hour for 4 hours but it was done in two {Mmmm-mmm, grab yo plate!}!

Instead of a knife I used scissors to cut everything up real fine {Maaaahhhhn!} including the mushrooms from the beef broth. Then I covered the meat with the broth and let that sit while I did the hoagies {Ohhhh Bahhhhby!}.

So I fired up the grill, put the hoagies on it undersides up, painted them with melted butter and a splash of the broth {you hungraaaay yet}, turned them over and let them toast {you smell dat, it smelz... good!}.

Was it popular? Well last night between the 6 hoagies we had only gone through 1/3 of the meat so I thought I'd cook up some eggs and through a lil of that meat in with them for breakfas... no, it's all gone!
