Dash cams also show when assholes speed up to prevent others from merging. Drivers have an obligation to prevent accidents, and by speeding up, they create a dangerous situation.

I was driving a 50s caddy one day, and got T-boned by a newer Pontiac. The caddy got a pie plate size dent, and the Pontiac was totaled.

Getting out and yelling about a dent while the other guy looked at his mangled mess was hilarious.
