I mean if you read any one of Matthew, Mark, Luke or John, and get the brief, edited version of Jesus' life, you'll see he clearly is asked Why does he use Parables, and he clearly, and without parables, explains why.
Mainly because people hated him, even at the time, rejected his message, and in general acted like liberals today. So he had to wrap knowledge in allegory.
Plus it's extremely difficult to teach "Principles" when all these people want are "Rules".

Most of them never read their bibles. And if they do, its only want the preacher tells them too, from his premade lecture he printed off online, that was written by a jew
