Why would a company want to know that you wish you worked fewer hours? It sounds like you know nothing about interviewing.

In all honesty I don't, haven't ever worked in the corporate world I just took a guess based on what I do now.

I wanted to reply with something similar.
Your job in an interview is to convince the other side of all the benefits they will get by hiring you. What do you bring to the company? Why should they bother?
What he said made him sound lazy as hell, since he pretty much said that his reason for changing to this company is the desire to work less.
