The main problem I see with the 'green' subsidies is that it distort the economy, diverting resources from projects that stand on their own merit to projects that are highly subsidized.

The president outlined it fairly well in his speech. The issue is not so much the direct payments because they are relatively minimal, Obama promised 3 billion a year to the third world theft fund. The issue is the loss of jobs due to regulation. That is where the real costs are. As far as what has already been paid, nothing to the best of my knowledge. The accords are still in the planning stage where each nation sets targets.

3 billion a year. That's what I was after. Looks like Trump found the money to pay for the wall front the cost of the wall, Mexico's still going to end up paying for it.

Well the Dow was up 136, NASDAQ was up 48 and the S&P 500 was up 18.

That probably wouldn't have happened.
