"Shall not be infringed." Notice the period after infringed. Not, FBI registry, ATF unconstitutional regulations, waiting periods, and licenses. A fucking period. End of discussion, no exceptions. If I want to own a fully functional tank, I will own a tank.

Only whites without mental disabilities should be allowed to own and operate guns.

Just make sure you have a firm grip aim for center mass and fire . Repeat until there is no movement . Always maintain control of your weapon .

Most people on Voat are either libertarians or national socialists of some flavour. So most will probably be either very anti gun control on principal or because they themselves think that they would benefit of being against it. Now I'm not either of those, but what I believe is that there should be some background check to see if your mentally fit to carry. I'm also from Sweden, where you cannot carry anything afaik except if you get a hunter license and that sort of crap takes ages.

My only concern is that the "mentally fit to carry" would be abused. After all what makes someone unfit? If they got a DUI once? If they posted on VOAT a dissenting opinion? What about if they were in a mental facility because they were placed there but it was overturned? Its really not all that black and white. Even the US rule of "if you have a felony on your record you can't own a gun" makes no sense... I actually have a friend who cannot own a gun because he was arrested for reliving himself on the side of a trail in a national park, and got caught. Since that is a felony he cannot own a gun. I know another guy who when he was 18 got a felony possession charge. He is now 30+ and doesn't drink, or do any drugs and still can't own a firearm...

If the government creates any list it should be public and there should be an easy way to get off of it. Otherwise no list and no restriction because it can be abused. Felony stuff is bs. If you did your time you should not be a 2nd class citizen. It's double jeopardy far as I'm concerned. Why let out someone you think is still unsafe to the public?

As far as I'm concerned, suspending the right to own a firearm should be a completely case-by-case thing. i.e, the government needs to file a case for every individual, and prove that it would be harmful or dangerous to society for that individual to be in possession of a gun. Much like it takes a separate court case to commit someone (who hasn't committed a crime) to involuntary psychiatric care. With all the aspects of due process and the defendant being able to appeal it, or to petition to have the earlier decision overturned because they've reformed.

Violent felony convictions could still be automatic suspension of rights, but should still have avenues of appeal. Under no circumstance should it be a permanent ban, where a citizen loses the right to appeal the suspension of their constitutional right.

Well I'm thinking of more mentally incapable of showing emotions. I have dealt with such people in real life, one that had been locked up in some mental institute for like 20 years (back and forth), he got upset with me and tried to hit me but I managed to run away.

Gun control means using two hands.

Don't take my guns.
The places with stricter gun control have more gun violence. Criminals keep their guns.

I can't speak for the site as a whole, but mine is as follows:

  1. All guns are always loaded, even if they're not, even if you just unloaded them yourself.
  2. Never point a gun at anything you are not prepared to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger outside of the trigger guard until you are ready to fire.
  4. Be sure of your target, and be aware of what is behind your target.
