Yes, I did not expect miracles, but he is trying to do what he proposed to do. Unlike former presidents that said they one thing, then pretend they never said it.

Made even better when he gets so much shit for actually doing what he said he would... Gotta love it when they attack integrity and think they have the moral high ground.

OK but cautiously optimistic.

I voted for Trump. I supported him from day one. I always felt that he was "not" a politician. An outsider. A businessman. A genuine good guy actually. I think he has been honest with the American people. I think he is getting railroaded in Washington. From both sides of the aisle. Because he IS a political outsider. I think he took a hit running for office. He didn't need the headache. Now that he is in it. He is in it firmly with both feet. Give him time. Once Washingtons establishment sees that he is not going anywhere. And he goes straight to the American people with straight talk. They will be forced to fall in line or be voted out.

Yes, I am happy with our president!

hes a step in the right direction. not ideal, but way better than i expected. hoping he keeps doing a pretty decent job.

Very much so. The louder democrats cry, the more you know he's doing a good job.

No, he's a corporate sell out just like most other presidents. The only difference is that he's also an asshole who makes an ass out of himself a lot.

yes. love him. its so refreshing to see someone actually take action and give a shit with out all the hot air politicians have.

there are things about him i dont like, but we need a fucking wall and a real foreign policy.

I'm happy that he's pissing people off and screwing things up in exactly the way that we need in order to get the political system back on track. The "checks and balances" aspect of our government requires conflict in order to function well, but we have had a gradual deterioration in conflict except for D vs R over the past 20 years. The different parts of government need to be willing to lead on their own and to be in conflict with each other. Instead, they all defer judgement to their bosses along party lines and you have a steadily increasing drain of power out of the most local and democratized offices into the white house and into the federal bureaucracy.

The power of the presidency was getting stronger and stronger and since nothing gets done without the president's support everyone else just squabbles and titters about. Someone who is very aware of the power that the office of the Presidency currently holds and is adept at manipulating those levers of power would be devastating to this country. That's why it was so crucial that Hillary Clinton lost.

Trump's presidency so far has been fantastic at starting to unwind this situation. He's distasteful, controversial, and volatile enough that no one wants to cozy up to him. He criticizes and scrutinizes everything, he has no favorites. He's a fucking bulldozer. That's not even to say anything about the actual policymaking itself.
