My opinion would be to place a local police report, containing the website information and the time of access. That way if there's action taken against those who visited the website, you'll be able to prove you acted in good faith and will also have it documented.

Mailed copy of domain registration along with explanatory letter to all other addresses on same street, house vacated within a week, site gone altogether a few weeks later!

I don't think this should be encouraged. The address used to register the domain could easily be old or fake, you very well may have ruined some random innocent person's life.

If you're going to run a website with CP, you obviously wouldn't use your real residential address to register the domain, you'd use a fake one. Hate to break it to you, but you destroyed the life of an innocent person.

Do you know how easy it is to reg a domain using somebody's address data and then upload shit like that? Its a thing of 5 minutes. You probably destroyed an innocent family that had nothing to do with it. Why would a real criminal put their own address?! Think about it! Great move, idiot. Hope you can sleep at night.

That was an amazing video to watch. I would have talked to the police before seeing this. Just hearing the officer say that interviews have never helped anyone was interesting to hear. Thanks for posting.

What may bother you even more is watching videos on how the police consider themselves. You'll often hear "I only arrest criminals" or "I never got the wrong guy". You only ever hear self-affirmations of perfect judgement. You also only ever hear the same from prosecutors and Judges.

That, I find, is the most disturbing fact about our "justice" system. Fallible authoritarians who believe themselves without error.

The guy at the end even says "No, I don't go after innocent people". This is implausible unless he considers himself incapable of making judgement errors. Now he could have said "No, I don't purposefully target innocent people". That's fine. But they never do.

That is not being alarmist, that is solid tech advice in any situation for cricital files. Think about the peace of mind you'll have when you don't have to worry about a clean install because all you'll need to get back on your feet is in your Dropbox/GDrive/Whatever

The title of this post should be edited to reflect that you did not find the CP on Voat. The current appearance of the title could be misconstrued to read as though OP found the CP here.

Whatever you do don't try and cover up the fact you were ripping it to a babe when it happened. Be like 'Yeah I found this awesome clip of name getting rammed by a dude and wanted more so I followed the link and found this.' Provide original site and site it linked to, if possible open the original site and moluseover the link, down the bottom left corner it should show the URL for the link. When you do this screenshot it as it may become 'proof' that the link on the original site did indeed link to the cheesy pizza.

Probably a good call. Anything perceived as less than fully forthcoming could suggest to law enforcement that OG was doing something wrong. As a safety blanket at least, I'm pretty sure police ignore people who view child porn and only put effort into those producing it (at least in the US).

No. Not entirely true. Someone in my SO's family was busted for viewing it. Not sure how but the local pd used a sting operation to catch him. I know this is just one scenario but I hope other other departments are doing the same thing.

They also go after those who view it. IMO those who produce it are the root problem, but if you catch all those who want to view it, you somewhat slim down the market.

This is what's important. Law enforcement will determine intent based on whether or not you downloaded any content. Unfortunately this is more common than ever, so its unlikely that you will hear from the police unless they suspect you.

Go to your nearest police station and tell them accidentally you visit that site and already report to google to remove it also file complaint against that website. You can also file complaint to the FBI official website. I think after complaint received, FBI will shut the whole website and try to arrest the owners.

Don't report it, you're only contributing to the increased censorship that is going on in our country. I don't get why having some pics of girls will get you jailed, but if they're just a few years older, then it's totally fine.
