We don't have enough parking!! You have to be home by 9:30pm or you're screwed!
Next to my apartment there are some houses and there's an access road that curves away. The road goes through some undeveloped fields and leads to a big church surrounded by nothing in particular.
- The houses have landscape features which shield them from the road.
- The road is wide.
- Traffic is nonexistent.
- We are an upper middle class apartment complex (no minorities, drugs, crime or ghetto anything)
We used to be able to park there as a last resort when the parking lot fills up each night. Usually about 5-6 cars would park there on a busy night.
Recently the city made the entire road no parking. This targets us and only us. There's nothing else here.
What can I do to reverse this? I'm willing to do anything (attend city council meetings, file a motion, paperwork, circulate a petition.) What can I do?

Probably need to contact the local government if it's public property. If it's private property (owned by a person or organization other than the government) than there's not really much you can do other than talk to the property owner. They might be willing to let you park there for a small amount of money.
