Pagan religions didn't had the concepts of paradise & hell although the unjust had to live in torment and the rest just existed . The living were motivated to achieve immortality through heroism .
Hellenistic gods were not supreme beings , their role was to observe and supervise the laws of nature. Also Hellenistic gods did not required any worshiping , humans felt the need to worship the gods.
I didn't said that they didn't believe in an existence after death they just didn't shared the Abrahamic views .
