I have watched a few documentaries and the common thread seemed to be that someone in their life was micro-managing them and controlling their food intake was the only thing they could absolutely have control over. I don't know how this carries statistically, but I find it incomprehensible that the current methods for dealing with the problem is to SERIOUSLY micro-manage every aspect of their lives. Measuring their food for them, not allowing them privacy in any way including bedroom and bathroom, monitoring their every step. It seems completely ass-backward.
