Honestly, I prefer to keep the default voat style. It's simple, clean, and doesn't distract me from the content/questions/answers.
I use night mode, and some of the subs have styles that highlight topics in white. Kinda cancelling out night mode.

With the day/night mode and (as far as I know) no way to detect it, any major changes are probably going to break one of the two.

This is why @Shiny should have included his work, then people would see how good he is and wouldn't be afraid of a new CSS.
