The Great Banning. I'd never even heard of FatPeopleHate before it got banned.

Same. Free speech whether or not you agree with it is crucial for real debate. I'd rather hear everything people have to say over a circlejerk saying the same shit over and over again.

Same here!

And then when a bunch of people on an LGBT community (I already thought were closed minded pussies) started bitching about discrimination and feefees or something when I was like "hey; check out this new website with these LGBT communities", and read a related post about why censoring people who you disagree with is a good thing, I knew I couldn't spend any more time there.

ALSO got banned for suggesting that a fellow users autism was giving him trouble with an abstract concept I was trying to explain to him. (He had autism, discussed his autism, but it was offensive when I participated in the discussion of his autism).

Made a Whoaverse account after the Fappening subs were banned on that other site.

I think it was the banning of FPH when I deleted my account on that site. I never browsed FPH, but it became clear at that time that they no longer cared about free speech and wanted to purge the undesirables to better appeal to advertisers.

Echochamber at ceddit is nutts.

:3 prime example is now, all the comments on the first link is disgustingly similar, and I would only assume that comments that derails itself against the census = downvote to hell.

It's cool to read comments and shit, but if all of them say the same thing and then hundred follow behind it. Lol gets kinda rowdy and leaves a bad taste in my brain.

I got tired of Reddit being a complete liberal circle jerk. It was ridiculous to me how they would be all about certain policies when a Democrat endorsed them, but when Trump supported it they acted like the idea came from the bowels of hell. In short, it got to where I just couldn't take the hypocrisy.

Furreal. Common sense and dignity has well and truly been abandoned there.

Reddit has a history of censoring anti-TPP discussions, and given that site's deep-seeded shill problem, I think it's a clear instance of manufacturing a false global consent for the TPP trade agreement.

TPP. Oddly enough just shortly before that, most of Reddit including corporate heads were entirely behind protesting against similar US-specific SOPA and PIPA acts. But then when TPP discussions became more common on that site, powermods did a 180 and began censoring all discussions hard.
