Google would probably be a better contender for front page. Reddit is ranked 10 according to Alexa (for the US) Google is ranked one with facebook and youtube in second and third place respectively.

But Google is "just" a search engine (I mean google.com, not the company), it doesn't show anything, just a search bar, so there's simply no way that it could clarify as a front page.

Facebook could probably qualify as the front page of the internet, since the feed list or whatever is called is sort of like an actual front page (if you "like" some news sources and things like that).

Well if we are speaking technically what would the criteria be for the front page?

We could use a standard college paper with a cover/front page as an example and I think that google would fit that bill perfectly. But we can both agree that reddit is far from the front page. More likely the third page of the internet with a full page picture ad, comparable to the sleezy car dealership that has some really nice looking cars but likely all have water damage or a check engine light. That's how reddit seems to me. Also there's a strong smell in the cars due to the water damage.

I use it a lot for maps and news and to find YouTube videos, not as easy elsewhere, it's way more fluent to access these features with google.com
