Freak out? No. But I won't buy a phone without one.

why the fuck would you want to buy a another device versus one that has been standard and widely used by everyone.

that's like having a 500HP car but only comes on square wheels.

Personally I don't mind wires.

Still wanna play a console with wired controllers?

If I played consoles than the wired controllers wouldn't bother me. You don't have to charge them, they are cheaper, and they have less lag.

Holy crap, talk about perfect timing:

Quit getting rid of the headphone jack

This is so stupid it actually makes my head hurt. Why, for the sake of everything holy, would you get rid of a universally loved and accepted port like the 3.5mm headphone jack on a phone this huge?

Samsung Galaxy S8's headphone jack may be here to stay after all

I am not for or against the damn headphone jack. Leave it in the phones, I don't care. I just don't get the fretting over it going away, because eventually, it will be replaced. And if its a big deal to you personally, then buy a phone with a headphone jack.

Bluetooth headphones are cheap. I dont see it as a "money grab" when I have thousands of options to chose from starting around $20

That's not the issue. When I travel by train/plane and want to listen to music, I don't want to have to worry about whether my headphones are charged. This was ONLY done for monetary reasons to force people to buy their shitty earbuds or their crappy adapter. And before you say nobody is forced to buy Apple's earbuds and can use any bluetooth headphones, just remember that diehard iTards always buy genuine iCrap.

There are other phones killing the 3.5mm jack as well, not just Apple. I'm fairly certain the phones come with a headphone set that the phone supports as well.
