A lot of people were voting for Hillary begrudgingly but weren't exactly enthusiastic about her. They just hated Trump more.

This is the real answer here. And it really comes down to a difference in campaign strategy. Trump was able to generate enthusiastic support among a portion of his voters, and they packed out rallies. Hillary focused on a negative campaign against Trump, and while that got her a lot of votes, she was unable to get people riled up to come to her rallies. If you asked 5 HRC voters what were the major issues Hillary's campaign was built on, you would get 5 different answers because the only real focus of her campaign was "Donald Trump is unfit for the presidency"

I voted for Trump, but my parents voted for Hillary. It was really quite a feat too since they've been dead for years.

Is there a way for someone can test to see if dead people voted? Like an online resource or something?

That sounds like a new App - maybe call it The Voting Dead?

I checked my SO's parents against Michigan's voter registration system, and neither were registered.

I have never been to a political rally in my life, and I'm 50, yet I vote in every election.

I do my own research, I don't listen to politicians talking shit on the campaign trail. I guess many people the world over are the same.

How much research is there to do? We had a dozen or so propositions here in enemy occupied California, and it was obvious almost at first glance which ones were progressive shit and which ones weren't. This isn't advanced astrophysics.

Identity politics just makes it even easier.

WTF has that got to do with the thread title?

It was fraud- that's why Hillary isn't asking for a recount despite being so close to winning in every state. If they recounted they'd find fraudulent votes, dead voters, etc...

This is the answer. At least 3 MILLION of those were illegals.

First thing you have to remember is that some groups are going to vote Democrat no matter what. African Americans are reliably Democrat, to the tune of 85%+ most any random Presidential election. Since at least 2000 Women, Asians, and Hispanics are minimum 50% Democrat every election. Men (particularly white men) are the only group that is not reliably going to vote Democrat. That means any random Presidential election is going to be about 50/50 in the overall vote based just one averages and normal turnout. Hillary lost precisely because she only got the reliable D voter who always votes and did not generate enough excitement to bring in much more than the crowd who only cared about "First Woman President", a much smaller group than the Dems counted on.

And that's identity politics. The progressives have made your skin your uniform and your genitals your weapon. What they didn't expect was white people going, oh, that's how it is? OK. [X] Trump.

And you people out there who don't like that, tough. It doesn't matter, because all those other folks around you love identity politics, and no amount of virtue signaling will protect you when they decide they want your shit next.

She didn't. Those numbers are impossible based on any and all actual rally numbers and all media websites pointing to Trump being sooo far ahead. They are just keeping us guessing or believing the lie. Making us always have doubt in the back of our subconscious. They know what they are doing.

Remember something Romney said which got him in trouble, but happens to be true (mostly). I'm paraphrasing here, but...there are 47% of the population that is dependent on the government to some degree. They're never going to vote any other way other than democrat. They're not going vote away their pizza and cookies.

And he should have doubled down after it got released. Demand people show where he's wrong. Trot out statistics. Crank up the rhetoric. That's how Trump won.

Romneys weak back pedaling showed useless he was.
