Some of us, people like me, like to share interesting articles we find. We tend to accumulate karma. Some people who want respect and control without doing any of the work, complain. They call us "power users". But I can tell you, a little credibility comes with the work, but no power. I have almost 600k on reddit and all it ever got me was that I could prove I wasn't a shill. Unlike these shills.

I really think you are miss using the word shill, its very inflammatory btw. and in regards to the greater conversation i think its ok to have a wide variety of users, who provide, comment, and moderate content, this should not have any bearing on who we treat with respect, that should be applied to everybody.

Sooo, how is it you are not shilling for the communist party in your mind? How is it that you are not trying to stop out freedom on a grand scale through these actions? And how could that statist attitude not lead to a loss of freedom anywhere it is accepted?

Unidan, way_fairer, etc. have lots of karma and many think they are right and do what they do.

I feel like some of these "power users" get a bad rap sometimes due to the others. Unidan, to me, seems like such a nice and honest guy. I wouldn't jump off a cliff for him, but I'd help him replace a flat tire if he asked. As for some of the others, the ones who are popular or powerful mainly because of high karma, they have more control over the masses than they should as ordinary users. Y'know what I mean? I'm bad at explaining what I feel c:
