I don't want to hurt anyone feelings that contributes to this web site but I have noticed that Voat becomes more and more flashy like hover balloons and stuff.
Before it gets out of hand and Voat turns into yet another flashy but ergonomics hard to use site, does other people have issues with this?
- Do you really care how many CP points a user have to see it in some hover popups?
- Do these flashy hover popups distract you from the real interesting content?
Voat is perfect viewable on my desktop monitor. I would not stay here if it became that flashy tablet look with giant fonts, giant buttons and wearing out my mouse because I have to scroll all the time to see the next sentence.

I actually do really like the hover info over a user - let's me know if they are a real contributor and participant to Voat, or even potentially a spammer that needs to be kilt with fire, or a new user who might need or appreciate some guidance or a helping hand.
But any more panache flash than that is just overkill.

It's already not usable with javascript disabled.

I am happy with the new comment inbox thing. Where it's blue if it is unread. That's nice. The hover I could give or take. PS. design/designe. Sorry. It irked me.
