It depends on a whole bunch of factors. How much trouble are they in? How much do I care for them? How much trouble could I get in? How easy would it be to get away with it?

A good bit of trouble.
They're someone you don't know, but care about a little bit.
A couple years in jail, at max.
If you timed it right, and you were able to convince some people, you'd be able to get away with it easily.

I wouldn't risk getting butt raped in jail for someone I don't know.

Before we get started.
Is it a life altering event?
Are we talking about jail time or prison time?
Immediate family? Likely.
Everyone else? Fuck off.

The law is already broken so what difference does it make? You're already committing multiple felonies every day, despite your best intentions. If the government decides to fuck you, you are well and truly fucked.
